Beach Yoga Classes Around Town

Yogis looking for a change of scenery can take their practice to the beach. No matter your skill level, grab your water bottle and roll up your yoga mat or beach towel, and consider one of several classes on the water from Marco Island to North Naples.

Delnor-Wiggins PASS State Park

Yoga instructor Jennifer Colucci partners with Greenmonkey for a morning beach yoga class at Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park in North Naples every Wednesday at 9 a.m. The cost is $5 per class plus the park entry fee; $2 of the class fee is donated to the park.


Lowdermilk Park

Lauren Fox, founder of Donation Yoga, leads her class on the beach at Lowdermilk Park. The suggested donation is $10, and half the fee is donated to a different charity each month. Classes start at 9:30 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. On Sunday evenings, Lauren also offers yoga on the beach at 18th Avenue South. Check out Donation Yoga Naples on Facebook for more details.


Seagate Beach

Caryn Gallagher, a yoga instructor with 30 years experience, offers yoga every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 9 a.m. at Seagate Beach, behind the Le Parc high rise near the 4900 block of Gulf Shore Boulevard N. Gallagher also incorporates soothing essential oils and sprays, offering lemongrass or lavender washcloths to place on foreheads after class, a refreshing way to end the session. Suggested donation is $10. No advance sign-up is required.


Marco Island

Stress Relief Techniques

Marco Island Beach Yoga offers classes that meet at the south end of the beach, just south of the Apollo condo complex and Sunset Grille, every Monday through Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. As a bonus, meditation follows the Tuesday class. Thursday through Sunday, beach yoga starts at 8:30 a.m., $10 suggested donation. No advance sign-up is required.
