Neapolitan foodies in the know shop for Kobe Wagyu beef, Kurobuta pork and other top-quality meats at Jimmy P’s Butcher Shop & Deli on Tamiami Trail North, across from the Coastland Center. The business has been owned and operated since 1985 by Jim Pepper, a third-generation butcher, now along with his son, Jimmy Pepper. The shop sells delicious homemade items and fine wines too, and has its own smokehouse for creating deli meats and fresh smoked sausages. Jimmy P’s is a great place for a meat-and-potatoes lunch, either to eat there or to take out, seven days a week, with most sandwich selections featuring Kobe beef. We have it on reliable authority that the burger rates among the best in town.
