Mediterra the Musical Lemongrass Lemonade Cocktail
6 stalks lemongrass
1 quart water
1 cup sugar
5 lemons, juiced
1 lime, juiced
1 thumb-sized piece of ginger, sliced
10 Kaffir lime leaves
¼ cup yuzu juice
1.5 ounces of vodka
Simmer the ingredients, except for the lemon, lime and yuzu juice, for 15 minutes and let steep an additional 20 minutes. Cool, strain and add lemon, lime and yuzu juice. Pour vodka over ice. Add Lemongrass Lemonade. Garnish with lemongrass or wedge of lemon.
