How great would it be to turn 11 on 11-11-11? That’s exactly what’s happening at the Mandarin Oriental Miami. And the celebration promises to be (like everything else at the MO) fabulous.
In store: a mesmerizing lion dance, honoring the hotel chain’s Asian roots; a DJ spinning electronic tunes; and a performance by an electric violin trio. The beach will be done up in Oriental decor and fabrics, and the menu will include Asian dishes like Korean beef empanadas, Chinese roast duck, dim sum and miso shrimp. Cost is $80 per person in advance ($95 at the door). A small price to pay to fete what Feng Shui masters are calling the most auspicious day of the 21st century.
Join the fun as the MO Miami celebrates its 11th anniversary on Nov. 11; from 7 to 10 pm.
Cocktails take on a new dimension from the terrace of Cafe Sambal at the MO Miami.
