The Marco Island Yacht Club - 11th Annual Commodore's Ball and Change of Watch

Now it is ready to announce its new officers for 2013 through a naval ritual called the Change of Watch wherein responsibility, authority and accountability are passed on from one person to another yearly. Jim Marr accepts his new Commodore title for 2013 as well as the honor to introduce the new Bridge Officers, Directors and Chairpersons.
The evening begins with a relaxing cocktail hour at 6 p.m. and then a delightful dinner at 7 p.m. Afterward, outgoing Commodore Stuart Curtis leads the honorable Change of Watch ceremony.
The rest of the evening gives way to singing and dancing, fabulously celebrating in honor of the yacht’s leaders—both past and new. Not to mention, the two-story clubhouse promises unbeatable views of the Marco River, Jolley Bridge and Marco Island Marina. You won’t want to miss it.
