The Marco Players is bringing laughs to the stage with the production of two one-act plays, The Way of All Fish and Wanda’s Visit on July 11-13 and 18-20.
Christopher Durang’s Wanda’s Visit tells the comedic, yet realistic tale of married couple Jim and Marsha as they deal with a visit from Wanda. Jim’s high school chum, Wanda stirs up trouble between the restless couple as she regales the two of inappropriate stories of their past and shamelessly flirts with Jim.
Following intermission, the Marco Players bring Elaine May’s one-act short The Way of All Fish to the stage. Office politics and the façade of power are explored when a high-powered executive and her careless secretary share dinner and “too much information” is divulged.
- Showtimes are as follows: Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.; Sunday at 3 p.m.
- Tickets cost $20.
