Stroll through the Old Naples Historic District February 3-4 and catch a glimpse of art in action as local, national and international artists take to easel and palate for Third on Canvas. Benefitting the David Lawrence Center, 27 professional artists will be painting en plein air—what Monet did—from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the annual art event, capturing the quaint and charming historic neighborhood in acrylics, oils and watercolors for the Third on Canvas Auction and Cocktail Party on February 9.
Artists will be setting up easel at four distinct locations throughout the Old Naples Historic District: The Naples Pier, Crayton Cove, The City Docks and Third Street South. For those wishing to see a particular artist work their artistic magic, the Third Street South concierge booth in Camargo Park will have a complete listing of artists, bios and locations, so art fans can get a glimpse of the work before placing that winning auction bid.
