The mother-daughter founders of Gallery on Fifth and the nonprofit Russian American Museum of Art officially cut the ribbon October 1 on their new venture, East West Fine Art. Olga and Leeza Arkhangelskaya’s new gallery, occupying the space that housed Trudy Labell Fine Art, will feature contemporary art, including paintings, modern sculpture, glass, digital art, photography, art furniture, and more. Look for the gallery to showcase pieces by world-class, museum-exhibited artists that appeal to buyers seeking an urban edge and elements of the unusual. “Our new gallery will address the decorating needs of the educated and well-traveled younger generation of Neapolitans, as well as the seasoned collector,” says Leeza, herself a young, professional Naples resident, who serves as the new gallery’s director.
