Love is in the Air

Bora Bora has to be the most romantic destination on Earth. It's really like something out of storybooks, with that tranquil lagoon and those toothlike volcanic rocks rising out of the water. Four Seasons Bora Bora is offering a package to up the romance quotient ... as if those over-the-water bungalows were not enough.

Seabourn Sojourn

The much-anticipated Seabourn Sojourn made a cameo appearance in Fort Lauderdale this week. The newest in the Seabourn fleet, it lives up to the reputation that won the cruise line first place among small cruise ships.

Amazing Ethiopia

Ethiopia may well be the destination at the end of the road less traveled. But it's all changing, thanks to a new Signature Series program by one of my favorite tour operators, Abercrombie & Kent.

London’s 41

London has always felt to me like a home away from home. I like to mix it up when I stay there, depending on my mood. When I feel like a small, very private hotel with intimate spaces and incomparable service, it's 41.

Good and Evil

The Old South and Savannah are synonymous. If you're going to experience the city, you may as well do it in the grand manner of times past. The historic mansions of Savannah whisper your name ...

Mex and the City

If your idea of divine dining includes great ceviche, a flight of tequila and the best queso fundido this side of the border, I have good news: Cantina Beach, the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne's mega-popular Mexican restaurant, is reopening next month. Ocean view included!

Ocean Reef’s Vintage Weekend

There are some things that are destined to become traditions. Vintage Weekend, at the private Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, is one of them. This convergence of classic and antique yachts, aircraft and automobiles takes place Dec 2-5 this year, and it promises to be very exciting, not least of all because our own Rybovich & Sons is bringing some superb examples from their historic fleet.

Best of Pret-a-Portea

The Berkeley, one of my most adored properties in London, is holding a contest to identify the world's favorite pastries from its wildly popular Pret-à-Portea, which celebrates five years this season. Vote and win a stay at The Berkeley (tea included, of course)!

Bal Harbour’s Revival

Bal Harbour Village is reinventing itself as a cultural destination, and at the forefront is ONE Bal Harbour Resort and Spa. The ultra-chic hotel located on the village's northern point is hosting fabulous events this season, in addition to offering luxurious digs and a new, to-die-for beach club.

Paris for the Literati

You have to be a bit of a literature geek (guilty) to fully appreciate this one. Pavillon des Lettres opens Nov. 1 in Paris' 8th arrondisement. A highlight: The iPad in every room, preloaded with excellent reading material and classical music.
