DESCRIPTION:Event Celebrated Veterans\, Founder Tom Monaghan’s Birthday\, and Raised Funds to Assist Students! \nMarch 25th was a red-letter day for Ave Maria School of Law and the worthy students who study there as FOX News’ Martha MacCallum\, an award-winning journalist with 25 years of reporting experience\, virtually joined the law school’s online Profiles in Ethical Leadership event to share her thoughts on the current political climate in our country and discuss her best-selling book Unknown Valor: A Story of Family\, Courage and Sacrifice from Pearl Harbor to Iwo Jima. \nMs. MacCallum’s focus on the military and “the Greatest Generation” was fitting given Ave Maria School of Law’s particular appreciation and assistance to those veterans who selflessly serve and protect our country; the law school has consistently earned the Military Friendly® School designations by Victory Media\, publisher of G.I. Jobs®\, STEM Jobs and Military Spouse. \nThe complimentary online event was the most successful Profiles in Ethical Leadership in the school’s history\, raising over $265\,914 for scholarships! The evening’s festivities featured a special birthday salute honoring Tom Monaghan\, founder of Domino’s Pizza\, Legatus\, Ave Maria University\, and Ave Maria School of Law\, as well as a live auction\, with all proceeds benefitting scholarships at the law school.
