Naples Concert Band’s November Concert in the Park

November 10, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Naples Concert Band, under the direction of Harris Lanzel, will present its annual Veterans Day Concert in the Park celebrating our country’s heritage. Our United States service men and women will be honored with a very emotional and memorable patriotic concert. This concert will feature the fabulous vocal quartet of Jenny Bintliff, Jacqueline Galles, Craig Greusel, and Ross Shaver. They will be singing “Homeward Bound” and “America, The Dream Goes On”. Craig Greusel will also narrate Douglas MacArthur’s “Duty, Honor, Country”. A new composition, “Liberty” by Rossano Galante will be performed along with Robert Jager’s “Esprit De Corps”, Noah Taylor’s “The Battle Cry for Freedom” and Jay Bocooks’s arrangement of “Battle Hymn of the Republic”. During the “Armed Forces Salute” our military branches will present their colors and be recognized for their service.

For 48 years the Naples Concert Band has entertained Southwest Florida residents with memorable Sunday Concerts in the Park. With more than 20 great feature soloists and inventive programing the 2019 – 2020 concert season promises to impress with music that everyone will enjoy. Each of the band’s eight concerts offer its large audiences an exciting mix of new music and memorable old favorites.

Admission to all Naples Concert Band performances is free, with donations appreciated. Donations received at each concert help defray expenses and help with The Band’s Scholarship Fund, which has awarded over $120,000 to over 100 students since its inception in 1984.
