Orchid Show and Sale

Gulf Coast Orchid Alliance will hold its 9th annual Orchid Show and Sale on March 20-22 indoors and under air conditioning at the North Collier Regional Park, 15000 Livingston Rd., Naples. Following the theme of “Orchid Jungle,” and there will be hundreds of blooming orchids and large displays for American Orchid Society judging and awards. Five vendors, including commercial growers from across Florida, will sell rare and award-winning orchids as well as orchid supplies, offering their expertise for what plants grow best under certain conditions. Gulf Coast News Anchor Christy Soto will serve as Celebrity Judge, selecting her favorite entry on the first day of the show. Hours are noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, March 20; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 21; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 22. Admission is $10 per person and includes complimentary workshops on orchid care and conservation on Saturday. Parking is free. Proceeds benefit the education and outreach programs of the non-profit Gulf Coast Orchid Alliance, which holds monthly meetings that are open free to the public.
