Hooters Fort Myers Pro Rodeo
The seventh annual Hooters Fort Myers Pro Rodeo, sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, will be held Feb. 22-23 in North Fort Myers. The professionally choreographed, two-hour premier event will feature bronc riding, steer wrestling, roping, barrel racing, bull riding, mutton busting, a kids’ calf scramble and more. Adventurous attendees can channel their inner cowboy or cowgirl on the rodeo’s popular mechanical bull. Vendors also will be selling food, drinks and rodeo merchandise. National Estuaries Day
Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve is celebrating National Estuaries Day with a free day of fun and activities at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center. Help make wishes come true one step at a time at the Walk For Wishes® 5K Walk/Run at Florida Gulf Coast University on Saturday, October 5, 2019.
