Holly Jolly Gingerbread Challenge

Nothing says the holidays quite like gingerbread. Taking this to heart, the Design Studio by Raymond will hold its inaugural “Holly Jolly Gingerbread Challenge” from December 8-13. Featuring entries from local pastry chefs Christina Gray from A Spoonful of Sugar, Kimberly Bechtel from Sweeties Custom Cake, and Wilhelm Gahabka from Bay Colony Golf Club, Weber Design Group created three architectural renderings—Cinnamon Chateau, Peppermint Palace and Marshmallow Manor—for the dessert artists to bring to life.

Visitors to the Naples showroom can vote for their favorite, as well as bid on an array of amazing silent auction items throughout the week, all culminating on Saturday, December 13 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. when the showroom transforms into a delectable winter wonderland. The featured gingerbread chefs will lead holiday-themed cooking demonstrations throughout the day, leading up to the announcement of the gingerbread house winner at 2 p.m.

And though all of this sounds like a tasty goodtime, its all for a good cause. Partnering with Collier Building Industry Association, proceeds from the Design Studio by Raymond’s Holly Jolly Gingerbread Challenge and silent auction will benefit the Toys & Joys for Girls N’ Boys toy drive.
