Best Breakfast
Jane’s Garden Café
French Toast topped with an array of fresh berries at Jane’s Garden Café |
Sequestered from Third Street South bustle, the lush courtyard at Jane’s Garden Café (239-261-2253) whisks you off to Europe. In addition to its Continental flair, Jane’s is known for its organic fare. For breakfast (or any time of day) ask about the muffin du jour. Like everything here, they are freshly homemade. And all breakfast items are available until the café closes. The quiche of the day is always a good bet, but the menu is extensive: eggs Benedict five ways, Scottish salmon and eggs, Nutella crêpes, blintzes, breakfast sandwiches, low-carb options and a nice variety of omelets.
