Best Indie Coffee
Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii
Bad Ass Coffee (239-213-0527) on Third Street South uses only fresh-roasted Hawaiian coffee beans. For the best it gets, order the 100 percent Kona coffee in either medium or dark roast. Take a comfy seat in its inviting, surfing-and-tiki-themed coffee salon to slowly savor the flavors of purist black coffee and espresso, or lattes and specialty drinks, such as a grasshopper or apple pie latte, Monkey Mocha (dark chocolate and banana) or almond mocha (coconut, almond and dark chocolate). The menu also offers teas, smoothies, shakes, frozen lattes, muffins, cinnamon rolls, breakfast sandwiches and ice cream.
