Café Lurcat’s (239-213-3357) brand of polished American cuisine has shined on the Fifth Avenue South scene for many years, astounding patrons with creations such as roasted cobia with celery root and maple puree. Its contemporary upstairs setting makes a night out feel special, a night that you never want to end. That’s where Bar Lurcat comes in. A bit more casual, but every bit as good-looking, the street-level bar stays open until midnight Sunday through Thursday and 1 a.m. on weekends. It serves a bar menu of artisanal cheese plates, shrimp ceviche, burgers and sandwiches. There are also plans to bring in live entertainment on the weekends.

Long-time Naples restaurateur Michael Hernandez is back running a sophisticated, lively and delicious eating and drinking establishment on Fifth Avenue South. The bar stays open until 11 p.m. or midnight serving “Nobtails” and “Bar Bites.” (hobnobnaples.com, 239-580-0070)
