Tacos & Tequila Cantina
It’s not just about tacos—but T&T’s (239-732-8226) menu does list nearly 20 different flavors from traditional carnitas to buffalo, Po’ Boy shrimp and Veg Out tacos. Sauces and ingredients all taste fresh in this indoor-outdoor garage-chic setting. Other traditional and creative food offerings include grilled corn on the cob with ancho chiles and cotija cheese, huevos rancheros and a Mexican burger. It’s not all about tequila, either, although the restaurant lists 30-something different kinds of blanco, reposado and añejo tequilas. Slap down $29 for the Trio Bandito—three tacos, three shots of tequila. Choose from 20 flavors of margaritas and other fruit drinks.
Dine and drink fine tequila street-side among lush greenery at Mercato or inside where it’s properly festive within the boundaries of good taste. Speaking of good taste: Seafood, steak, tamales and lamb mole make the taste buds dance. (masa-restaurant.com, 239-598-0887)
