Warm and cozy, Parmesan Pete’s (239-992-3663) occupies a North Naples strip mall with light brick walls, counter and table seating and tasteful decor. From the counter, you can watch the homemade goodness happening in the kitchen. The Brooklyn-style pizza is a specialty on a lengthy menu that also harbors pasta specialties, salads and entrées such as sausage parmesan and chicken Marsala. At lunch you can order panini. But back to the pizza: Design your own or choose from the specialty pies. The signature Pie alla Pete is a tasty, cheesy layering of ricotta, mozzarella, Gorgonzola, pureed sun-dried tomatoes, fresh arugula and a balsamic drizzle.
