Best Power Lunch
If you power lunch according to the old standard, The Capital Grille (239-254-0640) has your steak and martinis. Of course, you can skip the martinis and call it a paleo, high-protein, low-carb lunch. Go for the 14-ounce bone-in dry-aged sirloin or, for something lighter, the 8-ounce filet mignon. The lunch menu also offers seafood dishes (sesame seared tuna, citrus-glazed salmon and Chilean sea bass), entrée salads such as the Mediterranean salad with grilled shrimp, platter combos, and three sandwiches: cheeseburger, lobster and crab burger, and rib-eye steak sandwich with caramelized onion and Havarti.
By the new definition of power lunch, you want to eat low-fat proteins and healthy, organic salads midday. Try the free-range Greek chicken salad pizza or the kale Caesar with low-fat dressing. (thelocalnaples.com, 239-596-3276)
