Come out March 12, 2016 to the annual kids’ fishing clinic by the Marine Industries Association of Collier County and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Nearly 300 kids learn how to tie knots, safely catch fish, cast, and bait hooks. It is free and all participants will receive a fishing rod. “The excitement of going through the whole clinic and then seeing the results of all they learned in the huge smiles across their faces as they reel in their first fish is incredible,” says Tiffany Sawyer, executive director of MIACC.
