All eyes will be on the wheels this Valentine’s Day weekend. No offense to you lovely ladies out there, but, well, the eleventh annual Cars on Fifth will rev to life Saturday, February 14, and let’s face it, what’s sexier than the sleek curves of a Ferrari with all that horsepower in the trunk?
Presented by the Naples chapter of the Ferrari Club of America, Cars on Fifth broke its previous record in 2014, with more than 500 cars on display. This year’s looks to top that with a collection of more than 100 Ferraris, plus vintage muscle cars, exotics, classics and more—it will be one of the most impressive arrays of collector cars in one place. The show will quite literally bring traffic to a standstill along downtown’s main thoroughfare when it sets up shop on Fifth Avenue South from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Revelers will be able to walk among some of the coolest, most exotic cars ever built. In addition to autos, fine food, drinks and entertainment will be on hand, making for a family-friendly, high-octane event.
At 3 p.m. sharp, engines will roar to life as the Drive-Off creates an impromptu parade of some of the coolest whips in town. Proceeds from the eleventh annual Cars on Fifth will benefit St. Matthews House. Admission is free. For more information, visit carsonfifth.com,
