Elizabeth Star, a 20-year Port Royal resident, is often seen around town attending many notable charity events. The soft-spoken philanthropist has served on a wide array of nonprofit boards and committees, as well as taken leadership roles on a number of fundraising events over the years. This year Star’s laser-like focus is squarely on the American Cancer Society and its efforts to stamp out the disease that has afflicted some of her family members and friends.
On March 4, she will chair the annual American Cancer Society’s Bucket List Bash at the Naples Grande Beach Resort. Tickets cost $500 . For more information, click here.
