Imagine hunting for beautifully decorated eggs amid the lush tropical foliage of a Brazilian water garden. Now, add a dose of larger-than-life LEGO creations. This is not a scene of some modern Through the Looking Glass redux, but a day dedicated to family fun at the Naples Botanical Garden. On Saturday, April 19, children of all ages will scour the Kathleen and Scott Kapnick Brazilian Garden in search of brightly colored eggs for the garden’s annual Easter egg hunt.
Beginning at 9 a.m., children, armed with Easter baskets, will search on high for eggs while The Bumbles & The Honey Bees jam from the Water Garden Stage. Hunts are scheduled throughout the morning, with age-specific time slots to ensure the little ones a fair chance at collecting the goods. And don’t forget the camera for a few choice photo-ops when the long-eared barer of eggs hops to stage.
