On Saturday, March 7, one of Southwest Florida’s most popular foodie events will once again roll out the kegs and tasting glasses in Bayfront. The fourth annual Naples Craft Beer Festival will bring some of the best and brightest in the craft beer game to Naples, featuring 15 food and craft beer pairings, and upwards of 90 different brews to quaff.
From 12-4 p.m., more than 20 brewers from around the country, including a few Florida reps like Orlando Brewing, Pensacola Bay Brewery, Big Top Brewing Company (out of Sarasota) and everyone’s favorite local, Naples Beach Brewery, will pour more than 90 crafted brews for tastings. Guests can meet and mingle with the brewers themselves, while education sessions will go into detail about pairings, beer styles, and maybe a few tips on brewing your own backyard hooch. As for food, 14 different local restaurants, chefs and food trucks will be on hand to feed the crowd. Taking the foodie theme further, 15 beers will be expertly paired with a bite, giving this event a much more food-forward bent then simply beer bash.
Along with the craft beers and bites, this year’s live entertainment will take on toe-tapping folk treatment with The Good Bad Kids. This four-piece, Naples-based bluegrass, folk and rockabilly band is quickly making a name for itself on the Florida circuit, bringing a dose of high-energy, harmony-driven tunes to each performance.
- Admission cost $50 per person in advance here – more at the door ($30 for designated drivers—food only), which includes beer and food tastings, as well as a commemorative tasting glass.
- 100 percent of the proceeds benefit the Naples North Rotary Club Foundation, and will be donated to charity.
