CYNDI YAG-HOWARD, M.D., F.A.A.D.

Cyndi Yag-Howard, M.D., F.A.A.D., is a nationally recognized and award-winning dermatologist with more than 20 years of experience in the art of facial sculpting and aesthetic enhancement. Viewing each patient’s face as living and functional art, she uses her artistic eye and sensitive touch to bring out the natural beauty in every patient. In addition, Yag-Howard uses an artistic approach to skin-cancer surgery. “My goal is to make it look as though the skin cancer never existed, and no surgery was ever done.”

Yag-Howard earned the national recognition of her peers by being elected to the board of directors of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and by being appointed as chair of the American Medical Association’s Dermatology Section Council, representing the 13,000-plus dermatologists in the United States. She has authored multiple articles on innovative surgical techniques to achieve cosmetically elegant outcomes and started the AAD’s first and only course on suturing techniques. Yag-Howard volunteers at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital in Tampa, and with several other worthy organizations.
