Shine, a benefit for Hope Hospice
Hope Healthcare’s second annual Shine benefit for Hope Hospice will take place Friday, Oct. 16 at 5 p.m. at the historic Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers. State Senator Lizbeth Benacquisto and attorney Jenna Persons will return to serve as co-chairs for the elegant event featuring riverside cocktails, dining, entertainment and a live auction. Annual Quilt Show
Certified quilt appraiser Lars Cain, will be on site and conducting appraisals from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. His vast experience includes work at the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian Institution. Visitors may bring antique quilts for assessment. Verbal appraisals will be offered for $25 and the fee for a written appraisal will be $35 per quilt. The quilt show is included with admission. Admission is free for Edison Ford members.

Bromeliads Show and Sale
Event details In partnership with the Caloosahatchee Bromeliad Society, there will be hundreds of different specimens of Bromeliads for sale, including rare species.
