Dr. Yaritza Perez-Soto is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. She studied and performed her general surgery residency program at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, graduating in 2005. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. She has previous experience in large, multispecialty group and hospital-based surgery, and has been in private practice since 2014, affiliated with both the NCH and PRMC systems. She obtained advanced training in minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, complex abdominal wall reconstruction, and oncoplastic techniques for breast cancer surgery. She participates in Physician Lead Access Network, providing no-cost surgical care to lowincome patients. She’s passionate about delivering safe surgical care combined with state-of-the-art technology for optimized patient outcomes and faster recovery. Perez- Soto’s ultimate goal is to return the patient to full activity in the shortest amount of time possible.
