Solomon Eichner, pianist, will be performing at First Presbyterian Church of Naples on Sunday, November 17 at 4 p.m. The program will include works by Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Debussy and Gershwin. The Chancel Choir of First Presbyterian Church of Naples will present a concert that celebrates the joy of Christmas through the art of song. Steven Scheschareg, baritone, "From Vienna to the USA" This concert will feature songs, arias and Lieder by composers forced to leave Austria in 1938. Mr. Scheschareg will narrate a short description of each compose, what they composed and why they had to escape. The Chamber Choir is a mixed, auditioned ensemble open to all students regardless of major at FGCU. Recognized for their remarkable versatility, the ensemble performs choral music from the Renaissance to newly commissioned works. There is no charge for the concert.
