Robert D. Swift, DO – Blue Sky Orthopedics

Robert Swift is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and has subspecialty and advanced training in minimally invasive surgery of the shoulder, knee, hip, ankle, and elbow. He has additional orthopedic trauma training to better manage fractures and training in Robotic Knee and Hip replacement. He has been an adjunct professor of orthopedics at Vanderbilt University and at Upstate University Medical Center. Dr. Swift had the privilege of serving the U.S. Army as a physician and a surgeon and was decorated for his service in Afghanistan with the Bronze Star Medal. Dr. Swift has consulted with many hospital systems in the country and has settled in Collier County where he enjoys the beach and parks with his twin 6-year-old sons Cole and Hunter.

Dr. Swift was educated at New York College of Medicine NYIT, Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, UMDNJ-SOM, Detroit Medical Center—Wayne State University, Hughston Clinic, and Vanderbilt University. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Osteopathic Board of Sports Medicine.
