Raised in a small farming town in Southwest Kansas, Tylan Ricketts earned dual degrees in Philosophy and Theology from Benedictine College before spending four years in seminary with the Catholic Diocese of Dodge City. He went on to Ave Maria School of Law, graduating magna cum laude and earning the St. Ives Award while serving as managing editor of the Ave Maria Law Review. Tylan primarily practices in probate and business litigation but his practice also spans real estate and contract litigation and business formation—a range that reflects both his legal training and his grounding in service. Outside the office, Tylan teaches Sunday school, serves as a eucharistic minister at his church, and is an avid reader and amateur brewer—living out the firm’s “Truth Guided, Relationship Driven” ethos in every part of his life.
