Florida Sangria

Sangria is a wonderful beverage to enjoy with a few friends, be it on a warm afternoon or as a dessert wine after a meal. Here, this recipe calls on a specialty fruit wine made right here within the Sunshine State, blueberry wine.

A number of wineries dabble in the blue, most notably Island Grove Wine Co. in Hawthorne (near Ocala), and Keel & Curley Winery out of Plant City. Both make a fine wine that borders on Malbec and Syrah, quite interesting and not sweet believe it or not. Try the recipe below and you to will be praising the power of the blue.
