Local Resorts’ Pool Cocktails

Before season hits full throttle, why not take a deep breath with a mini getaway in our local paradise? Guests and beach-club members have a choice of two heated swimming pools perched for a gorgeous view of the azure waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

The drink: The Naples Sunset, a fruity, rum-based beverage served on the rocks or frozen.

1 part Bajan Punch

1 part Bacardi white rum

1 part Peach Schnapps

1 splash of grenadine

Top with fresh squeezed orange juice and pineapple juice. For the frozen version, blend with ice.

1 oz. of Midori melon liqueur

½ oz. of crème de banana liqueur

10 oz. of lemonade

1.5 oz. Stoli Blue vodka

1.5 oz. lime juice

1.5 oz. simple syrup

4 sprigs fresh mint, lime, and 7-8 blueberries

0.5 oz. club soda

Muddle blueberries and mint in lime juice and simple syrup. Add Stoli Blue. Shake and top off with club soda.
