This East Naples Mexican hot spot gives its tacos some fresh, fun spins. Case in point: Tacos & Tequila Cantina‘s (239-732-8226) mahi-mahi in the Baja Taco is fried in a Shiner Bock beer batter (or you can order it grilled if you prefer), then folded up with jalapeño cilantro slaw and avocado crema. Order your choice of flour, or soft or hard-shell corn tortillas.

The Local (239-596-3276) has designed two very different kinds of fish tacos: one fairly traditional with the blackened catch of the day dressed in crème fraîche cilantro, corn, and black beans; the other with snapper ceviche and avocado.
