While anyone can enjoy beautiful art and good food, few events combine the two together as successfully as the Dinner with Artists program. Hosted by the Naples Art Association, this creative program pairs a local artist with a local chef to present a work of art and a culinary masterpiece together. An upcoming presentation will be hosted at the von Liebig Art Center December 10 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and features creations by Colombian painter Juan Diaz and Brian Roland, founder of Crave Culinaire, a personal chef concierge and event company. “Juan is fantastic; he’s a local artist who won our Jade Riedel scholarship for artists back in 1998 when he was entering college,” says Shea Lindner, communications and programs manager with the Naples Art Association. “And chef Brian Roland has a bit of a celebrity life—he’s appeared on many local television programs.”
