Dr. Drew Chapman attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, earning a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology and microbiology in 2006, as well as a bachelor’s in general biology in 2007. Afterward, he attended Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores and received his doctor of podiatric medicine in 2011.
A family man who enjoys auto racing and the outdoors, Chapman is currently certified with an Ohio Podiatric Medicine Training Certificate, has been certified in American Heart Association Basic Life Support since 2013, and has successfully passed the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners parts one and two.
Chapman can perform forefoot procedures and reconstruction with the use of both internal and external fixation. He has been trained with both internal and external fixation techniques for rear foot and ankle trauma and limb salvage. He has been trained in limb deformity correction with external fixation in the foot and ankle. He is also very proficient in ankle arthroscopy and well-versed in the management of diabetic disease manifestations in the lower extremities including infection and Charcot neuroarthropathy.
